Founder & Partner: Nohl Martin Fouroohi
Energetic thinking, nuanced connecting, and visionary leadership combine with her lifelong keen interest in global affairs to create winning strengths.

Nohl Martin Fouroohi’s experience in international business, entrepreneurship, the Middle East, and public health coalesce in leading clients to successful global business ventures. She brings both a studied and instinctual understanding and approach to best practices in the Arab Gulf along with strong relationship capital in advising and launching companies into Dubai and the region.

Though her work bridging the Middle East with North America & Europe, the most astute institutions and individuals in the world now have access to opportunities before they enter the global private equity market where auctions can inflate valuations. Her work in the venture community includes evaluating companies for investment forums, scouting opportunities, and creating strategic partnerships.

Ms. Martin Fouroohi brings an entrepreneurial spirit to her work. She is the founder of three companies, profitably selling her first one in 1995. Originally from La Jolla, Ca and now living in Kirkland, Washington, she brings pioneering ideas, due diligence, discipline, creativity and integrity to her work to ensure a multi-dimensional roll out for core audience adoption.

Following Oberlin College with degrees in Religion (Islam/Middle East) & Developing Nations, Ms Martin Fouroohi received a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship (IBM). She focused on health care and HIV in Africa, utilizing limited resources and maximizing strengths to respond to complex, challenging issues. Her leadership, innovation and entrepreneurial talents combine with teamwork, enthusiasm, creativity and an ability to market new ideas & ventures to fruition.

Ms. Martin Fouroohi serves on national advisory boards, is a featured speaker, and spearheads collaborative conferences. Her work has appeared in local and international press including a new book, How To Make The Rest Of Your Life, The Best Of Your Life, which also republishes one of Ms. Martin-Fouroohi's articles. Her interest in international affairs is evident in her years with a US Senator, overseas travel, expatriate living, her studies, and her own international family, including her daughter who is a true blend of the East and West.

She is conversant in Spanish. Her work and travels have taken her to the Middle East, Asia, Africa, South & Central America, and Europe.

Partner: Vafa Voss Fouroohi
With over 25 years in international trade and business, Vafa Voss Fouroohi’s depth of experience, insights, and relationships are compelling assets.

His areas of expertise include international finance, international shipping, Middle East business, documentation, identifying USAID and government projects for international trade, identifying new suppliers and partners, developing and training sales agents overseas, and negotiating complex, large international orders. He has worked as an international broker in the commodities of pulp and paper. While at Summit International, his instrumental work contributed to large growth and sales of over $250 million worth of pulp and paper in 46 countries.

He has traveled extensively in North America, the Middle East, and Europe. Vafa was born in Tehran, Iran, arriving in the United States in 1978 and has family ties in Austria. He is fluent in Farsi and English becoming a United States citizen in 1987. Vafa studied at Boston University and University of Washington. He is the Founder and President of Global Pulp and Paper based out of Seattle, Washington with sales domestically and internationally.

Maliha Masood
A former consultant with the International Crisis Group, Maliha Masood has worked on conflict resolution and social responsibility in South Asia, as well as spearheaded research and development at Microsoft, technology startups, and nonprofits for over ten years. She did her graduate studies at Harvard's JFK School of Public Policy and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, earning a Master's in International Affairs in 2004.

Fluent in Urdu, Arabic and French, Ms. Masood is the founder and president of Diwaan, an Islamic cultural institute. She is also the author of Zaatar Days, Henna Nights, a travel memoir on the Middle East. A native of Karachi, Pakistan, she grew up in Seattle, WA.
